Angel Stadium Venue Information
Angel Stadium, located at 2000 Gene Autry Way, Anaheim, CA 92806, is one of the oldest active MLB ballparks, having opened on April 19, 1966. As the home of the Los Angeles Angels, it’s a cornerstone of Southern California sports culture, situated just 30 miles south of Dodger Stadium and less than 3 miles east of Disneyland. The stadium, originally built for baseball, was expanded in the late 1970s to accommodate the Los Angeles Rams (NFL) from 1980 to 1994, adding a trapezoidal shape and additional seating. Despite renovations, it retains its classic charm, with notable features like the “Big A” marquee in the parking lot and the centerfield rock formation.
The venue is a cashless facility, accepting only credit cards or digital payments at ticket windows, concessions, and team stores. Reverse ATMs are available to convert cash into Visa debit cards. Angel Stadium is fully accessible, offering wheelchair escorts, accessible parking near Gates 1-6 and Home Plate Gate, and ADA-compliant seating across all levels. The stadium also provides complimentary Wi-Fi, elevators, and escalators for easy access. For transportation, fans can use the Angels Express train via Metrolink for $7 round-trip for adults, with parking lots opening 2.5 hours before events at a cost of $10 for regular parking and $20 for preferred parking. Tailgating is permitted in select lots with strict safety regulations.
Beyond baseball, Angel Stadium hosts events like AMA Supercross, Monster Jam, Harvest Crusades, and concerts by artists such as The Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd. Its proximity to local attractions and dining options, like Golden Road Brewing, makes it a vibrant destination for pre- and post-game activities.

Angel Stadium Seating Options
Angel Stadium offers a variety of seating options across multiple levels, each providing unique views, amenities, and price points. Below is a detailed breakdown of the seating sections to help you choose the best seats for your needs.
Club Level
The Club Level (Sections 309–343) is located in the 300s, just below the suite level, and is a fan favorite for its balance of great views, shorter concession lines, and reasonable pricing. These seats offer a higher vantage point with excellent sightlines of the field and are ideal for fans seeking comfort without premium pricing. The Club Level includes Club All-Star, Club Loge, and Club MVP sections, but note that Club Loge does not offer in-seat service. In-seat food and beverage service via the MLB Ballpark app is available for Sections 309–343, excluding Club Loge. These seats are also closer to upscale dining options and premium bars.
Field Level
Field Level seats (Sections 101–135) are the closest to the action and among the most popular for fans wanting an up-close experience. The Lexus Diamond Club (Sections 114–122), located behind home plate, is a premium area offering wider, padded seats, in-seat wait service, and access to the Diamond Club Restaurant and Lounge with upscale dining and full bars. Other Field Level sections include Dugout MVP, Field MVP, Field Hall of Fame, and Field Box, with proximity to the field varying by label. The third-base side (Sections 110–112) is preferred for its proximity to the Angels’ dugout and better views of the right-field videoboard. However, seats in Section 135 may have obstructed views due to the right-field foul pole.
Terrace Level
The Terrace Level (Sections 201–260) offers a mid-tier option with good views and some shade, particularly in rows 12–15, which benefit from an overhang. This level includes Terrace All-Star, Terrace Box, and Terrace MVP sections. Seats in Sections 257–260 are near the “Family Zone,” making them ideal for families with young children. The Terrace Level provides a balance of affordability and quality views, especially for fans who prefer a broader perspective of the game.
View Level
The View Level (Sections 401–535) includes Lower View (All-Star, Box, MVP) and Upper View sections, offering the most affordable tickets. Sections 410–428 are particularly recommended for their proximity to the field compared to other upper-level seats, especially in the first few rows. These seats provide a panoramic view of the stadium but are farther from the action. For day games, be mindful of sun exposure, as home plate faces northeast, and shade is more likely on the third-base side.
Outfield
Outfield seats (Sections 236–260 and 101–103, 133–135) are budget-friendly and popular for fans hoping to catch a home run ball. Right-field seats (Sections 132–135) face more sun during evening games until sunset around 8:00 p.m., while left-field seats are more likely to be shaded. Sections 101–103 and 133–135 are also prime spots for autographs during batting practice, but fans must move 40 minutes before the first pitch. Outfield seats offer a casual, lively atmosphere but may have limited views of certain parts of the field.
Premium Seating
Premium seating at Angel Stadium includes suites and club seats for a luxurious experience. The stadium offers over 87 suites, such as Triple Play Suites (18–54 guests, $1,500–$6,000), Legends Suites (8–16 guests, $1,500–$6,000), and Dugout Suites (50 feet from the batter’s box). Suites include plush seating, in-suite catering, HDTVs, Wi-Fi, and exclusive entrances. Lexus Diamond Club Boxes (Sections 114–116, 120–122) are semi-private for 4–6 guests, offering padded seats and club access. All suites and premium seats provide reserved parking and access to VIP lounges.
VIP Packages
VIP packages enhance the game-day experience with exclusive perks. These may include premium seating in the Lexus Diamond Club or suites, access to the Diamond Club Restaurant and Lounge, in-seat service, and reserved parking. Some packages offer behind-the-scenes tours, including visits to the Courtyard Statues, World Series Trophy cases, and centerfield rocks, with prices ranging from $55–$77 as of August 2024. VIP packages are ideal for special occasions or corporate events, providing a high-end experience with personalized service.
